In an ever evolving world, Australian Catholic University (ACU) stands for meaningful educations, rewarding research, and life-changing community engagement. They hold their mission and values close to their heart as a Catholic organisations – a university focused on embedding excellence, valuing the pursuit of knowledge, human dignity and the common good.
ACU recently underwent a brand identity refresh, exploring a newly articulated ethos and how it can be brought to life across all of their touch-points. Our team’s challenge was to evolve their brand with a digital articulation, developing a design language that set out a foundation for their new website. Through strong collaborating with a UX designer, I worked on wireframing key pages of the site based on a research - with a component design language at the forefront of our minds. We spent time crafting not only a design system but also set out to communicate a sense of emotion and feeling through animated page designs.
